Will Do Fellatio for Food

vlog012 thumbHey y’all. Sorry I’ve been absent for so long. Been kinda busy with a couple of things, you know how it is. It sucks when trying to make a living interferes with my video blogging. Yep. It does. Anyway, please forgive the long stretch between this vlog and the last one. But like they say about menstruation, its better late than never.

Disjointed Thoughts

Filed Under (video) by tim on 07-10-2006

vlog011 thumbWell, here it is. Nothing new or too earth-shattering in this vlog entry, which should come as no huge surprise to anyone. Just a couple disconnected thoughts on the death of Madge, a quick pimp for a great movie I just got on DVD, and a giant digital blowjob to my new hero and love interest, MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann. And as usual, a bunch of fat women, stoopid graphics, and fart noises. Don’t complain, they can’t all be gold.

I’ll try to do better on the next one.

Bad Apple

vlog009 thumbFor several years now, I have been of the belief that Apple Computer could do no wrong. But after the trouble I’ve encountered since the latest iTunes upgrade and the newest iPod firmware update, I might be changing my mind. Apple? Are you listening?

Making Fat Girls Fart and Fly

Filed Under (video) by tim on 19-09-2006

vlog009 thumbI know, its been over a week, but I have finally returned. Lucky you, huh? This video is a bit on the long side, as in over 19 minutes. Over 59 megabytes — ouch. And that’s after I knocked the frame rate down to 15 fps, and set the audio to 112 kbps mono. Lousy editor that I am, I shortened it up as much as I could, and its STILL too long. But being such important subject matter, I didn’t want to leave out any of the necessary dialog, so I guess we can live with it. ‘Cuz that’s how I roll ya know.

This week I bring you a little information about using still images in your movies with Final Cut Express. It’s geared more toward the noobs and novices who might be thinking about upgrading from iMovie to Final Cut Express. As always, if you see something I did wrong, or you know an easier way, please let me know. I’ve been learning this stuff on my own, mostly by trial and error, and I don’t always end up where I think I should.

Also, I’m going to try to list my feed at the QPodder.com community website tonight. If that goes well, I might even try to get listed at iTunes. What can I say — I’m a typical queer — and I just love attention.

Did ya miss me?

vlog008 thumbAfter yet another long hiatus, I have finally risen off my lazy old ass and taped yet another stunning piece of internet waste. Actually, I taped it last weekend, but I am just now getting around to editing and posting the shit sammy. It’s littered with all kinds of background city noises, camera glitches, and enough shitty content to offend pretty much everybody. Oh yeah, and it’s boring, too.

But fear not, I think I might have come across a way of presenting content that I like doing and may actually know a little something about. Or not, you can be the judge of that. This vlog deals with encoding video for iPods, with a couple examples of doing it that work pretty well. For me, at least.

The Hiatus Recap

Filed Under (video) by tim on 17-06-2006

video screencapHey. Sorry about the huge gap between vlogs, but I’m tellin’ ya — sometimes I just need a break. In my case, I needed two or three. And I got them. But now school is over, I’m back in Craigmont, and the job hunt is, uhhh, well, hmmm. It’s on my mind. This video is just a recap of what I’ve been doing for the last month or so, which isn’t much. A birthday, the parents’ anniversary, and some other stuff. Basically, just a bunch of bullshit. I hope you enjoy it.

Resurrection Coming Soon

Filed Under (site stuff) by tim on 03-06-2006

No, I’m not dead. You only wish. I had to put the vlog on hiatus, yet again, while I was dealing with the drama of graduation, getting (being) old, and the overwhelming realization that I REALLY need to get serious about obtaining gainful employ in the very near future.

But now, school is over and summer is quickly approaching. The drama seems to be subsiding a little bit. I hope to be posting vlogs semi-regularly again soon. If anybody’s still stopping by here, or if you care, that is.

Currently, I’m working on a multimedia type slideshow thingy for my parents upcoming 50th wedding anniversary celebration, which is coming up next weekend, Saturday, June 10th. My sister Tina and I will be going through the old family photo albums today, looking for all those pictures from circa 1956 to present, that I will hopefully scan and lovingly edit into something that can be burned to DVD and displayed at the big celebration next weekend. I hope it doesn’t end up being a big ol’ shit-sammy.

Again, sorry for the long absence.

Please Poop On Me

video screencapHi. This is just a short video journal entry, very little editing involved here, so please forgive the quality. Thoughts were crossing my mind about what’s going on in my life at the moment, mainly about the kind of luck I have (or, DON’T have), that I felt the needed to document. With less than a month of school to go before I graduate, you would think I might be ecstatic about things, but such is not the case. Watch the vlog and see what I mean.

Also, the background music in this vlog entry comes from the album, “Second Sight“, by Jamie Sieber. She hails from right here in the great Pacific Northwest, and you can download her music from Magnatune.com. There’s lots of other good pod-safe music at Magnatune, too — everything from ambient to rock to jazz to trance. And by downloading or buying music from them, you’re supporting the artists directly, not helping some already wealthy record executive to get even richer. Plus, it’s free for podcasters and vloggers, which is pretty schweet.
