I’m looking forward to getting back into the point-and-shoot photography thing again. And as added bonus for a wanna-be video-blogger, this Coolpix L18 also does 640×480 video w/sound. Could be an interesting alternative to camcorder video. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

I hope to see some of your photography. You should get a Flickr or Picasa Webs account. If nothing else use the plugin that I use on my blogs and post them here.
If the quality of the video the camera captures is decent you’ll love being able to record quick videos that don’t take up 20 GBs!
Hey, thanks Andy. I really hope to get out take some “real” pictures when I get this little Nikon. As I said, I haven’t had a decent camera for YEARS. Which do you recommend — Picasa or Flickr? I guess it wouldn’t really matter.
