I ordered my new 16GB iPod Touch on the 28th of September, and finally, FINALLY, it looks like it’s actually going to be delivered! Wednesday, October 17th, if FedEx has their shit together. I was getting pretty tired of the “not yet shipped” message on the “check your order status” page after seeing it every day for the last three weeks. But now, all is forgiven. Thank you Apple Store. Next weekend, if anybody’s looking for me, you’ll probably find me “posing” in the closest wifi-enabled coffee shop with my new Touch. Lollerz — I just pooped a little in my pants…

vlog022 thumbJust a quick vid-jo urinal here, originally taped Sunday, October 6th. Still trying to figure out my new camcorder. As I said in the last post, it doesn’t perform too well in low light situations, so I took the lampshades off all the lights in my office/bedroom/lounge and STILL ended up with some pretty grainy footage. But really, it’s all about the content, isn’t it? Yeah, sure.

In this video, I talked about a new toy I’m waiting for, the Microsoft Zune 2, and the upcoming release of Leopard from Apple. For once, I restrained myself with the fat chicks and fart noises, too. I miss them. Makes for an abnormally boring post.

The Drive Home: My Version

vlog commute thumbInspired by Andy Melton’s beautiful video, “The Drive Home”, I decided to put this little piece of my daily commute up for the world to see. I set my cheap little Canon Z800 in “night mode”, and hand-held it for the last half of the climb up the Winchester Grade and part of the jaunt across the Prairie, roughly the last 15 miles of my daily drive from Lewiston back to Craigmont. The Canon doesn’t do low-light very well, but considering it was almost pitch dark, I guess it’s livable. Note the nice full moon through the plethora of bug guts on the windshield. This is film festival footage at its finest. NOT…
