Belated Labor Day Vidcast
Filed Under (video) by tim on 16-09-2007
Sorry. I was so proud of myself when I actually got off my ass and recorded this video entry a couple weeks ago. On Labor Day, actually. Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to editing it until this weekend. I guess that’s how I roll these days. So any “news” that’s in it is, well, it’s a little on the stale side. My deepest apologies (to my three viewers).
Also, and I’m not apologizing for this, but you’re seeing the real Tim Reid here — complete with un-dyed white hair and white chin pubes, both in need of a some trimming, I night add. My crotch pubes could use a trim, too, but since I’m the only one who ever sees them, well, whatever. So yeah, kinda got that old North Idaho Hippie thing goin’ on here.
No apologies for anything else though. Well, except maybe for the annoying lens flare going on in the middle of my face. Jeebus, what else could go wrong? Anyway, hope I don’t scare you too bad. It’s hell getting old…

You’ll forgive me for not looking at you during this video, except for a few occasions because I was eating! I really didn’t want to see those nasty things. LOL! Lord, help you.
I haven’t saw the lastest Bourne movie. I’ve only saw the first one. We’ve got the second one and I’ve been meaning to watch it. Hopefully I can sometime this week.
I had some egg rolls this weekend. I’ve never put mustard on them. Interesting combination.
I’ve been looking at camcorders, too. The ZR800 is the one I’ve been looking at, too. Because it’s cheap. Keep us up to date on how good it works. I’ve been wanting to do the green screen stuff, too. Just gotta buy the stuff to do it is the problem. Lighting, green screen, faster computer, etc.
Thanks for finally putting out another video! I suppose that’s what keeps you interesting.
Hey Andy, thanks for the insightful comments. And Happy Birthday, BTW! I remember turning 22 — seems like it was only yesterday.
The Bourne Ultimatum was the shit. I really liked it. But I’m a sucker for those government conspiracy, big-brother-is-watching you kind of shows. I’ve got the first Bourne movie on DVD, I can’t wait to get the next two.
I’ll let you know how the little ZR800 works for me. I STILL haven’t shot anything with it yet. Hopefully this week sometime I’ll get a minute to point it at my ugly face and yack at myself for a few minutes. We’re so busy at work, I just haven’t had time.
Anyway, thanks again, Andy. And send me a bowl of that soup, would ya?
The bowl of soup is on it’s way! Is the new job going well?
I am so glad you got a new camera, and I love that instead of using it to film that you filmed it using your old camera. You rock in that special way that only you can.
Andy: The new job is going well, although it is extremely stressfull at times. On the plus side, I’m becoming an Adobe InDesign L337 H@x0R. Too bad I have to work on a damned old Win 2000 machine all week though. BTW –WHERE’S MY SOUP!!! (j/k, lollers)
Justin: Odd as it may sound, I’m almost scared to use the new camcorder for fear it won’t live up to my expectations. At least I know what to expect out of my worn out old JVC, i.e. pixelated glitchey imagery with nasty artifacts and lens flare. I hope to put it to use this weekend with yet another stunning video entry. Wish me luck!
tim i think we need to do a vid blog from hogans with valerie
I would SO love to do a video from the Hogan’s — With any luck, I could break another glass with the camera rolling. Get ahold of Valerie and see when she can do it. Then, see when she can get together with us at the hogans. M-Kay?
