Welcome to 2007

By tim

vlog015 thumb2007 finally made it, and so did I. Happy New Year! In this video, I briefly brush over a couple of cool little Mac OS X desktop enhancements I use from Unsanity.com. “Cee Pee You” is a little freeware app that sits in your toolbar and measures your CPU usage in real time. Kind of useful when your working with processor hungry apps, or watching boring internet videos. “WindowShade X” is a $10 shareware app that allows you to do all kinds of neat things with application windows on your desktop. Minimize in place, hide everything but the top bar, make a window semi-transparent, and lots more. And finally, a look at a new video from Matt Stone and Trey Parker about a little dog named “Princess“. It causes me to chortle aloud. (NOTE: I put the wrong URL in the video, it should be FunFreePages.com — sorry).

Yeah!! I was thinking to myself, “Self, we need to see some new timcantreid.com video” and low and behold there it was! As if by magic or something. Loved the princess video btw. Those two always make me laugh. I’ve been watching clips of south park on comedycentral.com lately. I’m sort of lame like that.

Have a happy new year at work! i really will come see you I swear

    Tim,

Happy 2007! Glad that things are going your way. Thanks once again for the great recommendations…love the cleardock thing (just installed it).

“Princess” had me rolling…loved the sound effects!

Arwen, you goofy biatch! Was good to see you and all those damn kids at the grocery store. How many kids do you have now, ’bout 12 or 14?

Josh, you were always my hero. Well, at least for the last couple years.

Justin, thanks. I really like ClearDock. Seems like it helps get id of a little clutter, even though it really doesn’t. My buddy j3ph turned me on to the Princess ‘toons. They’re awesome.

Steve, thanks for the new year’s wish! I hope this year is a stellar one for you, too. And BTW, did the MacWorld keynote suck today, or was it just me?
