Bad Apple

vlog009 thumbFor several years now, I have been of the belief that Apple Computer could do no wrong. But after the trouble I’ve encountered since the latest iTunes upgrade and the newest iPod firmware update, I might be changing my mind. Apple? Are you listening?

Making Fat Girls Fart and Fly

vlog009 thumbI know, its been over a week, but I have finally returned. Lucky you, huh? This video is a bit on the long side, as in over 19 minutes. Over 59 megabytes — ouch. And that’s after I knocked the frame rate down to 15 fps, and set the audio to 112 kbps mono. Lousy editor that I am, I shortened it up as much as I could, and its STILL too long. But being such important subject matter, I didn’t want to leave out any of the necessary dialog, so I guess we can live with it. ‘Cuz that’s how I roll ya know.

This week I bring you a little information about using still images in your movies with Final Cut Express. It’s geared more toward the noobs and novices who might be thinking about upgrading from iMovie to Final Cut Express. As always, if you see something I did wrong, or you know an easier way, please let me know. I’ve been learning this stuff on my own, mostly by trial and error, and I don’t always end up where I think I should.

Also, I’m going to try to list my feed at the QPodder.com community website tonight. If that goes well, I might even try to get listed at iTunes. What can I say — I’m a typical queer — and I just love attention.

Did ya miss me?

vlog008 thumbAfter yet another long hiatus, I have finally risen off my lazy old ass and taped yet another stunning piece of internet waste. Actually, I taped it last weekend, but I am just now getting around to editing and posting the shit sammy. It’s littered with all kinds of background city noises, camera glitches, and enough shitty content to offend pretty much everybody. Oh yeah, and it’s boring, too.

But fear not, I think I might have come across a way of presenting content that I like doing and may actually know a little something about. Or not, you can be the judge of that. This vlog deals with encoding video for iPods, with a couple examples of doing it that work pretty well. For me, at least.
